To All the People across the world:

We are absolutely blown away by the overwhelming response to our recently posted AAA Worldwide Shortfilms contest! Your enthusiasm, eagerness have exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn’t be more grateful. A few people reached out to us with some questions about the contest.

The common question among all the questions was if the contest is open only for Andhra Pradesh people or for the people across the world.

The contest is open for anybody from anywhere across the world irrespective of Race, Nationality and Sex. But the theme of Shortfilms contest has to be Andhra Pradesh. For example it could be related to Famous Andhra Pradesh personalities, Telugu Language, Cities, Culture, Folk Songs, Kingdoms, or the programs being conducted by the current Andhra Pradesh govt for its people. AAA is conducting a Worldwide Short Film Competition, with an aim to create an opportunity for the Short Film Makers to prove their talents.

Rules and Regulations:

  • No Registration Fee or Entry Fee for this competition.
  • Theme of the contest should be related to current Andhra Pradesh state, theme can be chosen from one or many of the following topics Place/Personalities/Lifestyles/Culture/History.
  • You can check and follow our AAA Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube accounts for the latest updates.
  • All entries must be submitted between Dec 1st, 2024 - Jan 31st, 2025. On Feb 15th, the Top 5 winners will be identified and released for Audience Poll, Final selection of Top 2 winners will be announced during the AAA National Convention.
  • There is a 2 step process to select the 2 best movies. All decisions are final
    1. AAA jury selects the Best 5 movies
    2. Audience poll to select the best 2 movies from best 5
  • Prize Money:
    1. 1st Best Movie: INR 15,00,116/-
    2. 2nd Best: INR 10,00,116/-
  • Duration of the film should be a minimum of 9 minutes and maximum of 15 minutes including titles
  • The main language of the movie should be Andhra Telugu and all films must be with English subtitles
  • Multiple entries are allowed and Films once entered cannot be withdrawn
  • The films quality should be a minimum of 1080 megapixel
  • No age or gender restrictions for the creators
  • Stills, Teasers/Trailers should be submitted along with the film(s) for Promotions
  • The films will be judged purely on the concept given by AAA
  • Participants rules are defined in the application and the application is available on AAA website to review and sign. No entries will be accepted without signing the application
  • No objection certificate is mandatory from the chief technical team i.e. Producer
  • AAA has complete rights to upload the films on Facebook and YouTube. If the producers upload the movie in any social media which was submitted to AAA, those films will be disqualified
  • Rejected and disqualified movie rights belong to producers only.
  • All top 5 short films will be sole property of AAA
  • All top 100 short films will be uploaded by AAA in YouTube, other social media platforms and the revenue will be shared equally with the respective applicant.
  • Top 100 entries will get AAA Certificate + INR 10,116 + AAA Trophy
  • One of the Top 5 Directors will be given the priority to work with TG Vishwa Prasad garu, under the People's Media Factory banner.The Top 2 Prizes will be awarded by People's Media Factory during the AAA National Conference.
